M-LABS COMMUNITY MEET & GREET

M-Labs hosted a meet & greet which was attended by a mix of members from the discord community and participants from Game Jam 2021. The vibrant evening was kicked off with a welcome note and a brief orientation by the Operations Director and the HR Manager, Hamza Ibad, Namra Baig, answering all the burning questions the community had about the hiring process at Mindstorm.

Taken over by the Director of Labs, Yaser Awan, where the members were given an in-depth look into the vision of Mindstorm-Labs and the goals we’ve set to achieve for the young talent who want to carve a successful career in the industry.

The interactive chat session and a friendly foosball match really got the conversion going. Amongst the attendees were participants of the Winter GameJam 2021 and representatives of the winning teams. After an upbeat chat session during refreshment hour and group photos, certificates and cheques were presented to the teams alongside swag box distribution, ending the evening on the perfect note.

Being the core coordination center, the M-Labs Discord community also acts as a bridge for interacting with professionals and like-minded people who can help each other troubleshoot, add valuable feedback, and even collaborate to create games together. We plan to organize more events to encourage progressive social jams and build a powerful voice for the gaming community.
